We’ve all heard of it but what is the MLS or Multiple Listing Service. You’ve probably used it in the past if you are buying or selling a home to look up home prices in your area, search for available home, or look to see how what homes in your neighbor are on the market. But what is the MLS?
How the MLS Works:
Home sellers cannot post their home directly on the MSL as it is limited to licensed agents and brokers who pay for a membership. Once an agent or broker have a client who is selling a home, we gather all the necessary details as well as photos to complete your listing. When an agent logs in, we have access to a wealth of data that we can pass along to our clients or help us price your home based on other homes in your neighborhood. We are also able to upload and download document such as seller’s disclosures and HOA regulation to pass onto our clients.
